This Course teaches the
basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary
for owning and using a handgun safely. This
course meets the training requirements to obtain
a Colorado or Wyoming Concealed Carry Permit.
(As well as Florida Non-Resident Permit.)
Course tuition includes
CCW Reference Book with over 250 pages. Evening
Classes Limited to 4-6 people.
Course Topics included:
- Pistol knowledge
and Safe Firearms Handling.
- Understanding Revolvers
and Semi-Automatic handguns as well as Single
& Double Action
- Ammunition History,
(Quest for Stopping Power)
- Pistol Shooting
Fundamentals including:
- Shooting Stances
- Grip
- Trigger Control
- Sight Picture
- “Front Sight-Press”
- CO / WY Statutes
& FL
- Reciprocity including
“May Issue” vs “Shall Issue”
- Conceal Carry Info,
Resources & Supplies
- Pistol Sports, Activities,
and Competition.
- Self Defense Principles
& Mindset
- Live Fire Exercises
in which Students demonstrate
Safe
Firearm Handling on the Range.

Classes Only, private sessions to be booked
after class)
Students are recommened
to bring:
- Brown Bag Lunch
(We'll be watching videos during lunch
time.
Refrigerator & Coffee are available
in classroom)
Live Fire will be during
the latter part of class. (on Sunday Classes
Only)
- Handgun and 50 rounds
of Ammunition.
Handgun is to be left
unloaded in student's car until the range part
of the class. If a student doesn't own
a handgun, one can be provided. Student
may purchase ammunition from the Range.
For Florida Non-Resident
Permit Applications: Notary Services are available
at the class for $3 for the first item &
$2 for each additional item. Fingerprinting
available at class upon request.
